Face Mapping | What is your acne telling you?

It’s that time of the year with the weather changing that everyone seems to be getting sick!

So much coughing, sneezing and watery eyes but the other day I woke up with a few breakouts above my brow and wondered what had caused it?

My diet hadn’t changed; I hadn’t eaten anything different than usual so I decided to look into Face Mapping. Face Mapping is a very interesting traditional eastern method that tells you what acne on particular parts of your face means.

The face is mapped/sectioned into various parts of your body. Your skin reflects your internal health and can often be the first place to look when trying to diagnose various illnesses.  I looked up what my breakouts meant and it was related to a compromised immune system. This could definitely be true as having so many people sick around me my immune system certainly was in overdrive. In general breakouts can be a sign that your body is fighting bacteria.

So next time you get some acne on your face, whether its persistently always in the same place or unusual have a look at the face map below as your skin could be telling you what is going on internally. Keep in mind that acne is also caused by other factors such as poor diet, allergies and clogging makeup as well.

Determining the main cause of your acne is the best method of controlling it.
