4 Top tips for keeping your skin hydrated this Winter

As it gets colder and colder our skin often becomes drier and drier. Subjected to the drying effects of the cold, wind and of course indoor heating that can wreak havoc on your skin.

This is often a time also where you may see your skin type change from oily to dry or dry skin becomes drier.

Tip 1: Dont overheat your skin

We all love cranking the heating up when indoors, its fine during the day but at night your skin will be its most happiest at around 18degrees. This temperature is also meant to be the optimum for getting your best sleep, so enjoy your beauty sleep at the correct temperature.

Tip 2: Add moisture back in to your surrounds

Where you live may become drier due to the constant heating reducing the moisture in your environment. Invest in a humidifier to add some moisture back in. I love to use mine in the bedroom to treat my skin with moisture while sleeping.

Tip 3: Keep to your daily skin routine

Ensure to cleanse and moisturise especially when you step out of the shower/bath. Use products that retain moisture for as long as possible. Try Scentrelle Body Dew and Face Serum to ensure your skin is quenched with moisture.

Tip 4: Keep up your fluids

Drink a lot of water throughout the day rather then too much tea and coffee. These are diuretics and can leave you feeling parched.

Be Kind to your skin and it will be kind to you.

How often do you re-order eyelash ceulrrs? I think I average one every 9 or 10 months or so? I hate that they only give you one refill thingy…And when that one “goes out” it just isn’t the same and takes way more “curling” to get it right….Sigh:(
