In fact, on a busy day when you might need a bit of a break, yoga can help in reviving the spirit, as it relaxes the tension and muscles. Set aside five to ten minutes from your busy schedule, stretch, and breathe to attain a healthy life.

  1. Try Legs Up The Wall Pose

When you are finding a simple way to relieve stress and pain from those tired legs and feet from a hard long day at work, then try this pose to reduce swelling in the ankles and the feet. This pose helps in improving the blood circulation of the body, making them strong and better.

Steps to follow:

  • Lie down with hips close to the wall and legs stretched up.
  • If you feel any strain in hamstrings, then move a few inches away from the wall.
  • Place a looped belt outside the edges of the feet to relieve stress from the muscles.

 

  1. Go Outside And Enjoy Padmasana

This cross-legged pose helps in meditating deep by calming the mind. It is believed that if you do this pose, you will certainly blossom like a lotus in a certain time.  It not just reduces the tension from the muscles, but also effective in making the skin glow.

Steps to follow:

  • Sit on a mat with erect spine and crossed legs (right foot on the left knee and vice-versa).
  • Place your hands in the mudra position over your knees.
  • Hold the position for 100 counts and keep your head and spine straight while breathing deep.

 

  1. Get Complete Relaxation With Shavasana

Practice this pose towards the end of every yoga session. It helps in healing an entire body leaving it relaxed and revitalized.

Steps to follow:

  • Start by lying down on the flat surface with eyes closed.
  • Relax the body by keeping your arms along the body and palms open and facing upwards.
  • Breathe slowly and deeply for an energized inhaling and relaxing exhales.
  • Surrender yourself completely, but do not fall asleep.
  • After ten or fifteen minutes, when you feel entirely relaxed, roll over on one side with eyes shut and stay in position for at least a minute.
  • Now, use your hand to support your body to sit up in Padmasana.
  • Open your eyes and feel refreshed and relaxed.

Yoga helps in reducing the stress levels and boosts the relaxation. Just go for these poses and make your life relaxing and healthy. Do not forget to focus inward on the breath and play some soothing music for complete relaxation.
