Watermelon Seed Oil | Benefits for Skin

Watermelon seed oil also known as Ootanga oil or Kalahari oil has some excellent skin benefits. Whilst often eaten in summer, Watermelon seed oil can be used any time on your skin… Delicious! It is obtained from pressing of the watermelon seeds

It is rich in essential unsaturated fatty acids, oleic and linoleic acids to nourish your skin deeply.

It has a beautiful light texture and does not clog pores allowing Scentrelle dry body oil to absorb quickly and efficiently onto your skin and provide a healthy glow.

As well as hydrating dry, thirsty skin it also is suitable for oily skins as it helps remove sebum, dirt and grease build up which often tends to cause acne or tired lack-lustre skin. It has traditionally been used in Ayurveda to help calm Pitta (Sensitive) skin.

Watermelon Seed oil is also known to rejuvenate the elasticity of your skin, proving to be a lesser known/used anti-aging ingredient rich in antioxidants.

So don't be deceived by the humble watermelon!
